Kimpton De Witt, Amsterdam (IHG)

Newhey designed and manufactured over 2,200 sqm of carpet, finished as rugs, for this stunning InterContinental Hotel Group boutique hotel.

Centrally situated in the heart of Amsterdam’s hustle and bustle, the Kimpton De Witt hotel is exceptionally well designed and perfectly appointed for business or pleasure.

The interiors, designed by architectural practice, Michaelis Boyd Associates, mix traditional design with modern accents. Boasting 274 guestrooms, with 15 signature rooms in the original 17th century architecture, they are designed with one of two bespoke palettes – the product of a close working relationship with the Newhey design team.

Using a beautifully textured blend of natural un-dyed British Wool, 80% Wool / 20% Nylon, these bespoke Colortec and Graphics Tufted carpets created stunning results. Manufactured by Newhey in the UK, every square metre supplied to this project used our unique Evobac backing material, which for every square metre supplied diverts at least 8 plastic bottles from going to landfill or entering our oceans.
