Bridge House Hotel, Grasmere

Bridge House Hotel at Grasmere – once a country home, now a hotel, is a haven set in its own grounds with beautiful views overlooking the River Rothay in the heart of the Lake District. With plenty of charm, character and history, this picturesque hotel is set directly across from St Oswalds Church where William Wordsworth was laid to rest.

Recently having undergone an extensive refurbishment throughout guestrooms, corridors and public areas, the hotel is now fully open to guests. The elegant Edwardian old house has 18 en-suite guestrooms and has been refurbished in an art deco style. Newhey manufactured two bespoke designs for the Guestrooms and Corridors in a heavy contract quality at 4 metres wide with beautiful rich exuberant colours chosen to compliment the interior scheme. A stock collection design, Odyssey, was selected from the Express2Go collection for the Restaurant.

All Newhey carpets are manufactured with evobac, a secondary backing made from post-consumer recycled PET. Every square metre of our carpet prevents eight plastic bottles from going to landfill or entering our oceans. All Newhey’s products are ‘Made in Britain’.
