Newhey are proud to have supplied carpet to the 4 star Mercure Paignton Hotel, situated in prime position on Paignton sea front.

Our team in sales and design worked closely with Kay Elliot Architects, based in Devon, who specified over 5,700 square metres of high quality contract carpet for this art deco inspired hotel. A mixture of stock and bespoke colortec products were selected for the guestrooms, corridors and meeting rooms and manufactured in 80/20 wool nylon at 4 metres wide.

All our carpets are manufactured with evobac, a sustainable secondary backing produced from post-consumer PET. Every square metre of carpet diverts at least 8 plastic bottles from going to landfill, this project therefore diverted a total of 45,600 plastic bottles.
