We understand that this is also an important factor for many interior designers and developers when specifying products so in 2013 Newhey launched a revolutionary carpet secondary backing system, ‘evobac’, produced from post consumer recycled PET.
You can select our carpets with a clear conscience as every square metre specified, prevents at least 8 plastic bottles from going to landfill or entering our oceans.
We select only the best raw materials for our carpets by working closely with experienced local spinners and dyers who are based within a 35 km radius of our factory. Localising our supply chain represents a tremendous opportunity to help the environment by reducing shipping and storage, therefore reducing emissions and energy usage.
Dyeing is a critical part of the production process. Making sure that yarn is colourfast and resistant to fading through wear, sunlight, water and washing is vital. Working closely with locally based dyeing experts with over 100 years’ experience, knowledge and technical expertise guarantees shade, service and satisfaction.
Bespoke Design Service – Together, we work closely with you from initial design brief to final design selection, sharing our tremendous expertise, to bring your design to life with a beautiful 100% custom carpet.
Express Collection – All designs within this collection can be easily accessed via our online design centre. Each design can be re-coloured to suit your interior scheme. Not only can you select patterns and change colours, you can also view your chosen design in room settings, download images for presentation and request samples.
Stock Collections – Our extensive off the shelf stock collections make specifying the right carpet possible and painless. Select from a vast array of patterns, colours and textures that achieve a look that is faithful to your original designs.
From CAD images and flooded floorplans to bespoke & stock samples, we offer a comprehensive sampling service to help you make the right choice for your project. Our in-house design team and sampling facility ensure industry leading response times to all requests, whether this be design prints or fully bespoke samples. Where required we are also able to manufacture small quantities in your specified design, colour and quality for areas such as model guestrooms and corridors.
